Introduction:

The Matictest Automatic Surface & Interfacial Tensiometer is designed for measuring the surface tension of oils and the interfacial tension between oils and water using the Du Noüy ring method, in full accordance with ASTM D971.

This instrument is widely used in power, petrochemical, transformer oil, and additive research fields, ensuring accurate analysis for quality control and product formulation.

You know that platinum ring method is a traditional testing method which has been about 70 years. Our Du Nouy Ring surface tensiometer is made of platinum wire with a diameter of 0.37mm to make a ring with circumference of 60mm. In the test, the platinum ring dips into the liquid surface or interface two kinds of non mixing liquid by 2-3mm, and then slowly lift the platinum ring up, and there will form a film between the ring and the liquid surface. The film has a pull down force on the platinum ring, measuring the maximum force exerted on the ring in the lifting process of the entire platinum ring, and then converting it into a true surface also interface tension value.

Petroleum industry-transformer oil and other petroleum products: The value of the oil-water interfacial tension is closely related to the purity of the new oil and the deterioration of the running oil.

2. 240X128 dot matrix,10 inch 65K ((resolution 800*600) color LCD touch screen display, automatic printing of measurement results.

3. The appearance surface is treated with electrostatic spraying, anti-corrosion and easy to clean.

4. The host is equipped with a windshield to prevent the measurement results from being affected during the measurement process.

5. It has a 25automatic temperature compensation function to solve the influence of temperature on the measured tension value.

6. This oil surface tensiometer automatically adjusts zero, automatically measures, calculates and displays the experimental results, and has a power-off storage function.

7. The instrument lifting platform automatically rises and falls, smoothly, with low noise and good accuracy.

8. Using a magnetic tank closed sensor and equidistant multi-point calibration, the repeatability and reproducibility of the measurement results are improved.

9. It can work independently, and can also be connected to a laptop or microcomputer through a USB or RS232 interface to achieve network management.
